What are the best jobs for lazy 18 year olds?

When I was 19 I was a desk clerk at a hotel. It was my first job and I didn’t know how easy I had it! I sure wish I had that easy of a job now!! So I would suggest that, desk clerk!

There is not an easy job. Want good pay? Then you need to work you butt off. Thats how life works. Go off and look for one, and you will be lucky just getting a chance to get an interwiew. Keep the attitude up and you will be a lazy 18 year old and also jobless.

When I was a lazy 18-year-old, I made a nice wage (for an 18-year-old, anyway. I wouldn’t want to live on it now) as a publishing company’s IT guy. Back in ‘95, if you had even a working knowledge of computers and networks, you could write your own ticket, and these guys used Macs (of all things), so it was easy to act like I knew what I was doing, because Lord knows they didn’t have a bloody clue.

I think during the course of that job, I did maybe 20 minutes of actual work a day and spent the rest of the time on the Internet (which, back then, was largely text-based, so you reeeally had to use your imagination).

I made a couple grand a month as a server at a good seafood restaurant. That was what I considered to be a lot of money for minimal work. I don’t believe in getting paid to be lazy, but that’s the closest I can think to a job like that. If you aren’t enthusiast though, you won’t make the tips to get the high pay. You may just be stuck as a minimum wage stock person for a department store.

unless your prepared to work, you wont make easy money without doing something illegal (and incredibly stupid like selling drugs) people wont pay you for nothing at your age your going to have to work for your money if you were the head of a buisness would you hire the lazy person who does a half assed job making your company look bad, or pay the same amount to the enthusiastic person who does there job properly?
