what are some ways to get your hair shiney, but not greasy?

I’d really love to get my hair shiney and healthy looking considering my hair is damaged and dry. I keep trying products that help my hair, like heat protectants, natural products and shine surums. But they either dont work, or they make my hair feel and look greasy… advice?

If your hair is dry, you should get a protein based treatment at a hair salon. It will restore protein (which is lacking in dry hair) and make your hair stronger so it won’t snap off or break.

Massaging your scalp and brushing your hair afterwards will stimulate the glands in your head and let them release oils that may be clogged in your hair. Brushing your hair afterwards will distribute the oils and help repair damage on the ends of your hair.

Don’t clogg up your hair with products, a heat protecting product is great to use, but try and only use 1 or 2 products as the hair will gather dirt and appear greasy easier.

well, I use dove shampoo and conditioner! I take a shower and sleep after I shake out my hair…usually its knotted in the morning…hahaha brush it, then straighten…works for me :) sometimes I put in herbal essences hair serum if I dont want it frizzy :) all you do is: when its wet shooken out, (after you took a shower the night before), you run your hands through it and it should be fine in the morning :) people always say that my hair is shiny! hope I helped!

What You do is you take like 2 different kinds of conditioning and shampooing first you put in the shampoo (it has to be a different brand of shampoo than the brand of conditioner) and srub your head for at least 1-2 minutes and then wait 1-2 minutes and then put the conditioner in your hair and scrub your head for about 1-3 minutes then wash your body before you take out the conditioner and when your done with washing your body take out the conditioner :)
