Who else get's a weird sensation around their third eye when they place their index finger in front of it?

  Wow, every time I put my finger in front of it, I get a slight stinging throbbing pain near my left temple. :( When I take my finger away, I don't feel it, when I put it back, I feel it again. Wth? Maybe It's all in my head...O_o

  well... it has metaphysical properties attributed to it as well... but it is a physical entity. You are not entirely incorrect to call it a third eye. The photoreceptor cells functioned as eyes in simpler organisms.

  Because your finger allows you to pinpoint it. One of the methods for opening the third eye is to use your index finger and mimic that you are pulling open an eye lid.

  I get what you're saying, it just tried it and it got tingly. Maybe that sensation is the whole reason people came up with the "third eye" thing.

  I'm saying the third eye because it's the closest spot that I can place the sensation I get, there really isn't a third eye as far as I know.
