Where can I buy German DVDs with English subtitles online?

I have looked everywhere but I can’t find any good ones. All the websites that I have checked have got the dvds but I live in the UK so I need either region 0 or region 2. It has to have subtitles because my german is not good enough for me to watch it without yet. Any suggestions?

You could try amazon.de. Or any other German web site. Okay, will be kinda hard to surf because it’s German.

But almost all international movies sold here in Germany come dubbed to German with at least two switchable sound tracks (original language and German) as well as with switchable subtitles in several languages.

There should be no trouble about DVD region codes. Germany is region code 2.

Pick a product, such as this one:

And just use the “Edit”-> “Search” of your browser to locate the word “Untertitel”. “Untertitel” is the German word for subtitles. This one blu-ray set doesn’t have the info in the product description, but a customers review states that subtitles are available in French, English and Dutch. Some other products have them in the product description. Look for the word “Tonspur” to find info about the available sound tracks. “Tonspur” is sound track.
