Is the website The national Do not call registry.gov legit??
i heard from my friend about it and it sounds really good that telemarketers do not call my house phone, but it sounds to good to be true!! Is it legit or does it like send my number to telemarketing people? I already registered for it though i hope it’s real help!
.gov is a government domain and only government sites can be under .gov., it is like .mil this is only military.
It’s legitimate - I’m listed on the Canadian one and have had no trouble. However, you should know that it doesn’t protect you if you willingly place your phone number somewhere online or when you order something.
