my boyfriend's dad is getting married next week thursday at the botanical gardens I have no Idea what to wear, should I try something floral? btw it's summer here
A nice yellow strapless dress with a light white small sweater just in case it get chilly at night lol. or any nice solid bright light color, baby blue, teal, pink anything like that would look good but not to short since it is your boyfriend's father's wedding. something just about knee length would look good.
You don't want to blend into the flowers, so I'd say a short, lightly colored dress (baby blue, baby pink, or even darker colors like dark blue, red etc) with a little bit of beading or sparkle, high heel shoes, and silver bangles with your hair in a lose pony tail :)
There aren't common rules for dressing for a garden wedding, other than that is should thump the right note between stylish and not too informal. Garden weddings are typically dressy affairs, but ones for which sequined and beaded dresses are simply too much.
Floral print or flower like colors. It often makes skintone glow. Anthing that shows satisfacion to you figure and compliments the scene & tone which would be like flowers since they come in various colors.
A floral cocktail dress would be nice :)
