So I use pandora, but sometimes I find that the songs that they give me don't exactly suite and I constantly find myself just not listening to anything at all. It's been quite a while since I found something that appeals to me, by a while I mean a few months.
In short, what methods do you guys use to find music that you like? Or, how did you stumble onto that one song that you can't stop listening to?
Thanks in advance!
I find that if you learn about your favorite bands, you also learn about different bands they've been affiliated with. You may like people who have toured with them, people who have covered there songs, or those who are just good friends with the band in general. That's how I did, at least.
I just click on random songs on YouTube. If I like it I like and if I don't I don't. Sometimes I'll just listen to songs my family and friends request or I'll listen to the soundtrack of a movie that I like.
I listen to all types of music litteraly, I watch anime so I listen to Japenese pop, and many different types of music. You just have to go listen to some random songs to see if you like them or not.
I usally just type in "Bands that sound like ______" then put the name in there. Then a whole list of different bands come up and i check them out useing youtube
listen to my fav radio station mostly 101.9 is my fav and they have alot of new music. Youtube and I just surf the web to see what is out there
I Listen To The Radio.. I Found Josh Groban On The Radio.. I Found Other People I Love On VH1.. I Found Keith Urban On CMT
Usually, I go on youtube and search up bands I like, then I look at the similar videos on the right side that they show.
I usually look at what other bands the band I like are touring with, because they're usually the same type of music.
i text people asking what they listen tooo.
