why does warm salt water help mouth ulcers?

yes,salt water helps you with mouth ulcers.I myself use it when i have mouth ulcers,it is really a good home remedy. salt kills the germs and bacteria in your mouth and prevent bacteria to grow,which helps in mouth ulcers. ulcers have acids and warm salt water helps to make them better,usually it should be done at least 3 times a day for better results.

Salt draws infection…You can even use warm salt water to draw an abcessed tooth…

Also try Oil of Oregano by Oreganol P73. Oregano is one of natures best antiseptics. It also keeps the teeth from decaying. Search Google for it results.
Just put 3 to 4 drops under the tung for a few seconds and then swish it around your mouth, then swallow.

it has an anti-bacterial effect, i think it has something to do with removing the available water… Not sure though. If you are prone to ulcers, its a good idea to look for a toothpaste that contains a milder surfactant than sodium laural sulphate.
