Volunteer Work?

I am thirteen and I was wondering how old you have to be to volunteer at dog shelters or volunteer to be a dog walker?

I agree with emiduh. I’m president of my schools key club, which is a voluteer organization. The key club offers a lot of scholarships to its members. We do all sorts of projects throughout the year, sometimes we’ll volunteer at humane societies. My favorite thing we do is the Read & Lead program where we go read to the kids at the elementry. One option: you could call around to local shelters or Vet clinics and ask if they use volunteers for different things…I wish you the best !!

You should look into the program Volun-Teens. I did it when I was younger and it was so much fun and you get to go to a new thing every week during the summer.
