what is your view on a 14 year old getting colored contacts( has regular)?

I don’t think there is much of a problem. Since you have regular, it should mean that you know how to handle them and know to be very clean while using them. There isn’t really anything wrong with experimenting with different things. Although from what I hear, colored contacts do not “breathe” as well as your regular ones.

It’s no more of a problem than hair dye and make-up. Some people will argue saying that contacts can harm your eyes etc but so can anything these days. As long as you are using them responsibly (don’t leave them on for more than 6 hours etc) then there’s really no problem with it.

80%,contacts are used today because of beauty reasons,and its use is increasing day be day,so its very common to see any girl doing this.Since its getting really common to see 14-15 year old girls with tattoo and piercings,same implies to contacts.

i dnt see nothin wrong with it plus the good thing bout contacts when people where em it actually looks classey!!! if people at the age of 12 can get there hair died an where clothes that they shouldn tbe wearinthey yes its okaii to get them but make sure ur fingers are clean an there clean before you put them in you eye an you will have no prblem at all :)

why not? I have had contacts since I was 13, some of which were coloured. The only thing I dont like is people of any age using coloured contacts that are not from an optometrist as they can damage your eyes

no they cant if kida can get pericings an everythin tham they can get contacs people belive that it damages youer eyes but thats horseshit quit tryin to sccare her it aamy have damaged ur eyes because you probably had dirtniees in it so when it when in ur eye got like sorta infected

excuse me? I did not say there was anything wrong with her getting coloured contacts, only that she should get them from an OPTOMETRIST, as she would anyway considering she needs prescription ones. Coloured contacts you can buy in any random shop CAN harm your eyes, they have made people go blind. Learn to read. While you’re at it, learn how to type properly.

I Wear coloreed contacts and im 13 i see no reason as to why you shouldnt. As long as you wash your hands before putting them in and before taking them out,that you dont sleep with them,and dont wear them for more then 8 hours and try not to wear it every single day. :) hope i gave some kind of helpful informatìon
