Is it bad to get your nails done while your pregnant?

As long as the area is properly ventilated, you and the baby should be fine. If you are worried about the fumes, though, ask for a mask… just to be on the safe side!

yes, i’ve been in those nail places and the smell is like extreme and its even in an open space. it would be harmful for the baby just like drinking, smoking eating wrong foods, getting hit in the stomach or even dying your hair and using certain products are bad for a baby; you have to be really careful with things like this.

I have been through two pregnancies, read every pregnancy book, and asked my doctor every silly question i could think of - and there is NO reason you can not get your nails done at a salon. Just because the smell is strong when you walk in, doesnt mean the fumes are and that it can harm your baby.

No I would get mine done all the time and my sons perfectly fine

I do gel nails… Acrylic smell, not gel.
