Unlock laptop

Three days ago I allowed updates for my computer and since then it has been unlocked; I have followed all directions per computer but it will not allow me access; what can I do to get updates off since I am pretty sure that is when it happened. I cannot even get to area of resetting computer to earlier date.

Yes, tried safe mode and also last know mode but not successful. It really is frustrating and I know it was because I allowed my computer to update. I hate to think of what it is going to cost me to take it to a computer expert.
