ugly 15 yr old trying to loose weight. :(

I think of my self as ugly and the only reason I think of that is because im chunky and no guy ever seems interested in me. I havent had a boyfriend since 7th grade. but anyways I am out of school for christmas break and I now have more time to take care of this problem. but the only thing is I don’t know where to start. I want to atleast drop a pant size before we go back to school and I promised myself this will be the real thing. cause in the past I have just givin up. but I just need some advice on how to loose the weight withought starving my self or making my self puke. I really need as much advice as possible. and if you want to talk to me personally than fun mail me. thx.

I diet during the holidays, I only eat when I’m hungry and when I amm hungry I eat fruit, or yoghurts. I also exercise, not much though. Sit ups are really good, because they focus on your stomach. Do about 10 of them everyday. And try and get out more, arrange a shopping trip with your mates or ask your dad to take you somewhere. good luck xx

Excercising is excellent, it will boost your confidence. but I think you should do it by getting out of your comfort zone. Like if you are scared of running or whatever then do that. Join a club or do it at school or whatever, it will really boost your self confidence. :-)

First off, everyone is beautiful in their own way. The guys you are around seem not to care about personality and are more considered about looks.

And I do not know how to lose weight “quick,” but I do have small advice concerning this.

Have you ever exercised? It makes you feel better about yourself and gives you self confidence, this effect is from endorphins being released into your brain.

A small jog every day, depending on how much you think you can do, possibly 1/4 of a mile and building up from there, depending on your fitness level. Gradually increase it by 1/4 mile every week or so. Crunches can also help, as it works your stomach muscles.

Choosing to walk or bike instead of taking a vehicle if the distance is short is also a good choice.
