Why are uggs sooo cool? They are somewhat ugly and wayyy to expensive!! Hat do you think??
uggs most people love them because there warm, comfortable and easy to walk around in and put on/take off there made from sheep skin and fur the sheep needs to die to so its skin can be removed but because the skin is a by-product this means that its not killed just to make ugg boots its killed for meat, ect and the skin is sold to make them there are expensice and cheap ugg boots around there are even vegan ugg boots that are made from fake skin and fur, so theres no trace of real animal products in it a better option though is to buy them secondhand that way your not supporting the need for people to use there skin to make more ugg boots your buying one that was made ages ago, and arnt giving any money to the people who actually made them another reason why there cool is because its a trend another thing that becomes "hot" and "popular" for a year at most, then becomes uncool then 5 years later theyll come back as being "retro"
uggs are made of sheep and are really fluffy and soft, the ones you got for $20 are most likely faux. and really if you dont like them dont get them; I have 4 pairs myself and I adore them.. its kind of a social thing I guess. my cousin daniele introduced me to uggs when I was visting NY back in 2005, I always wanted a pair but because she had them I wanted them even more. she's a fashion major so I really looked up to her style.
ohh and then I started wearing them when I swear NO ONE in school was; and every girl was like "omg those are hideous!" but I didnt care because I thought they were comfy and warm and then eventualy everyone got hooked on them even my best friend who swore she would never buy them is looking to get her second pair. so I don't know girls are just following trends I guess.. trying to be cool?
I used to not like uggs and think they were really ugly. my sister has the real uggs and I wanted to try it on so I did, and thought to myself these are so confy! I got used to the look and now I have my own real pair! they're just boots you don't have to get them if you dont want too(:
I HATEEE THEM I mean shureee they'll keep you warn but other than that there just soo sterotypically preppy and so well assossated with preps I honestly have nothing agnest preps and sure everyone wares them but bottem line is that they are ugly scrubbish and jutst weirdd looking
I think theyre comfy and warm and cute lol but everyone seems to have a different opinion. the thing about uggs is that theyre supposed to maintain your body temp so you can wear them in the cold or when its kind of warm and you wont be sweating or be too cold.
I have a pair of the coquette slippers in sand, I also have the dakota slippers in chestnut, I have the classic short boots in black, and I have the classic tall boots in chocolate. I like the natural colors more than the pink or blue ones.
Its not like there cool its more of that there are comfy and warm and great for the winter there are other shoes that are in style now like the westernish looking but uggs will always be in styl becuase how comfy they are
well yea they are pretty and stuff but I have the same pair of boots like uggs, EXACTLY THE SAME about the temp and stuff and I got them for 20 bucks at a store called deb, omg ugg is rip offf
