No - you are right: pneumonia is not, in itself contagious. But the thing that caused it often is contagious / infectious. Pneumonia can be caused by non-contagious things such as physical irritants, and even when the primary infection has caused pneumonia in one patient, the same infection passed on to another patient would not necessarily cause pneumonia in that patient (but it possibly could).
Well, pneumonia per se is just an inflammation of the tissues of the lung(s) , but it is usually a secondary effect caused by a bacterial or viral infection, both of which could be contracted by kissing, and if passed on, that infection could go on to cause pneumonia just as it did in the original patient.
Tb u can get from kissing or even bn around someone with tb u cud possibly contract it. Pneumonia I don't think so
Oh ok thx for the info I never knew pneumonia was contagious
Ok I understand, thx again, much appreciated
Yes it is!
