geoing to the doctors will probably result in you finding out why you cant conceive! the more you wait the longer youll worry as nerd says, your partner could also be the one whos having problems for men and women, exessive alcohol and smoking can make you less fertile as can being overweight or underweight, as your diet can have something to do with it also having chlamidia ands not getting it treated can make you infertile and stress/ depression and things can cause your body to hold off being able to conceive, as well as periods just get a check up, its much easier!

I think you need to get over your fear of going to the doctor. If you say that you’ve been trying for a baby for over a year now then you might have a problem. The doctor will be able to examine you and let you know exactly what going on with your body. He may also be able to prescribe some fertiltiy pills for you (and what other steps you can take to help you get pregnant). So I guess to help you get over your fear you can take your partner with you. Also let him get checked out too because you never know…
