Does anyone know the truth why Micheal Jackson bleached his skin?

He did bleach his skin, but it was because of the Vitiligo. He opted to do that instead of having white patches all over him.

I thought he used makeup to even out the skin color. Guess I heard wrong

He did at first, and that is also why he started wearing the glove. But when it got worse he just opted to do the bleaching.

He did he lied about the disease. And probably cuz he was crazy 0_o he may have been talented but he was messed upp

That was a big debate and like any other celebrity people make things up just to try to make someone look bad. The documentary that I watched talked all about his life and the reasons he decided to do the bleaching. That is one of the rumors out there though that the disease is a big lie and he just wanted to do it. Of course you can get doctors and others to lie about it so I guess we won’t really ever know the truth. He did it and we should leave it at that. It was a decision he made and we shouldn’t care why. He had a lot of great music and should be remembered for that not the color of his skin.
