is it true that if you weren't born before 1995, you can't get your license until your 18?

:O here it’s as earlier as 14 1/2 to start getting your license. When you are 14 1/2 - 16 you can go take driver’s ED at your school. Then, after that you take a test. Then they give you your learners permit. With a learners permit you can drive all you want as long as their is a parent/guardian, or responsible person over 18 that has their license in the car with you. Then you have to have your learners permit for 6 months, after that, you can go and I think take another test, then get your license. I have seen people. start at 14 1/2 and be driving at 16.

I heard something about they passed that law in 2006, but I can’t say whether it’s true or not. I think it is, but not positive.

i know that this isnt a good answer at all so sorry for that. but i think i heard somthing like that in my law in order class. i think it is but idk why or if its not

there talking about new rules quite often , my best bet is to contacting the transport department in your state. each state is different. i live in wa so my rules could be different.
