Not at all. Different people will always look older/younger than others their age. Tanning doesn't necessarily make you look older, but in some cases it can. Just like wearing makeup can make you look older, and wearing different clothes can make people look different ages. Hairstyles also make some people look older/younger.
Being tanned does make you look older, but mainly because it dries your skin out. As a teenager you probably won't be showing any effects of aging, but tanning won't make you look more mature or older. Best thing is not to tan. Pale really does look so much better in my honest opinion.
It's the more you tan, the quicker you age in appearance. When you tan a lot, your skin turns leathery and wrinkled. My cousin is a chronic tanner, and at the age of 29, she looks like she's in her 40's.
If its fake, yeah, you are just wasting your skin with all that stuff that it contains, but if its like your normal skin color, than no. Because it is all natural.
My cousin is really tan, and she's 17.
She looks 14.
tanning does age the skin.
so it's bad to get tan??
