Because you let them. When you speak up and say something, they will leave you alone. I was the same way. I hate confrontations, but after a while, enough was enough.. I finally said something and it’s been good ever since. I’m not saying be a total b1tch, but just stick up for yourself. You don’t deserve to be treated that way.

dont be an easy target. dont fight em but be careful ya dont step in the if ya know what i mean. also dont give em a reason to if they say you cant do this then prove em wrong

Moe’s got it….people treat you the way you allow them to. When you know you’re getting a raw deal, or someone is taking their own frustrations out on you….stand up for yourself.

I disagree with that actually. There is nothing here to suggest that she allows anybody to walk over her. Let’s face it, we have all dealt with common *rseholes in our lives and often they walk all over us because we try not to let them.

Do stand up for yourself, but remember that ignoring them can be a good option too. If you do allow people to treat you this way, then definitely try to make some changes to your approach. But… If they treat you badly regardless of how you act, then sometimes a more passive aggression is the best approach.
