How to transform my style?
Hi.im a girl who lives in south africa, gauteng to be specific and I want to change my style.I want to become a punk, but I just dont know how to go about it.if someone knows of shop I can go to, which caters for punks or can anyone offer advice on the type of clothes I should buy, and what goes with what.your help will be greatly appreciated

Being “punk” kinda means not fitting into societey’s (sp?) steriotype of how you should be. Dress how the fck you want. Dress in whatever the fck makes you feel good. Be who you want to be not “punk” or whatever the label you feel you have to place on yourself. Who cares what other people think about what you wear. Be YOURSELF!! I remember standing at a bus stop in the city after I got my septum peirced (which I have taken out)I had my funky Value Village coat and my funky boots…some kid comes up to me and asks “what are you, are you a goth , are you punk?” Honestly I didnt know who I was trying to be, I told him…I’m not anything, I’m just me.
Your style is something that you have to come up with on your own, you don’t just decide to become punk. Wear the clothes you like, not the type of clothes that will make you fit a stereo type.
