How to ease the pain of my tongue piercing?

I just got my tounge pierced yesterday (aug 8th) and it hurts so bad haha and its really swollen..does anyone have a ny adivece I can I have? to help cope with the pain?

haha yeah this was a dumb choice because neither of my parents know..I have wanted it for so long and my friend finally took me to a professional. im going to get killed if they find out..but for now im just not going to talk to them for a while. haha HELP :) thanks!

it might be swollen for a few days.

my friend had hers peirced and it was swollen for about a week,and then it went away.

haha nice,talk to your parents but dont open your mouth so wide. haha :)

I drank apple juice… ice cream made it worse for some reason…stuff thats really cold… ibuprofen (liquid kind) helped really well…

remeber a big swollen tounge leaves limtied space in my mouth lol so that means no ice cubes. haha :(
