too much salt in beans

is there anyway to reduce the salt flovor if your husband put too much salt in a pot of lima beans.

Answer #1

I hear putting potatoes in it will help as the potatoes will absorb the saltiness.

Answer #2

try to rinse them and reheat them.

Answer #3

I did that with some butter beans one time and what I did was just made another package of beans and combined them together. If you drain them and add more water to them they will like eating beans in plain water and not have that soupy sauce that makes them taste great with cornbread.
