To convince my parents for a puppie

I need to convince my parents to get me a puppie and that I can take care of it. How can I do it?

well first of all your pup wont stay a pup for long they grow up pretty quick I got a pup for my child the PUP is now 2 years old and guess what she has lost interest in him oh dont get me wrong she still loves him but her friends are way more important now she begged me for about 2 years before I got him now she brings him out once a day I bring him out 3 times more a day thats 4 times a day wether its raining or not think long and hard first what happens when you grow up a few years and get a boyfriend do you still think you will have time for a dog they live for an average of 10 to 16 years where will you be then . maybe your mam and dad are thinking their live will turn out like mine my little girl is 11 now I still have an average of 14 years left of this 4 times a day walks they just want you to make sure this wont happen to them
