vachick I think your comment was kind of mean. sometimes pregnancy isnt planned and its hard work.

scaredmommy.. I have a 6 month old and I am in college fulltime and its hard work. she could be changed, fed, and just woke up from a nap.. and cry for no reason. try starting a routine with her. thats what I just started with my daughter and it has been working! =) She gets her bottle around 7pm. Bath at 8pm… with johnsons nighttime wash. and at about 845pm I lay her down and she crys for a little bit (5 minutes and not cryiing hard) if she starts crying hard go back into the room and pat her on her butt just to let her know your there (DO NOT PICK HER UP!) and walk back out and continue this until she goes to sleep. My daughter sleeps from 9pm-5:30am..

Try to nap her during the day around the same time everyday so you can get things done.. homework, etc.

funmail if youd like =)

I agree with crazychic! My kids go to bed at 8 pm and get up at 7:30. My son is just turning a year old. When we came home from the hospital we fed him every 4 hours and stuck with it and as he got older we increased the milk and the time in between the bottles. Some people believe you should feed them whenever they cry but my son had really bad reflux and it made him want to eat all day. I am pregnant again and I will do the same thing with this baby. It is easier on me and my husband to have everything so planned out and the baby is still getting what it needs. I hope I helped… Good Luck and God Bless!!!

vachick.. your comment wasn’t necesarily mean, but it did show how much worldly experience you have. women have babies all the time, planned and unplanned. life goes on. we all have to survive and it is very intelligent and brave for a new mom to continue her education.

Your baby might have gas. see if mylecon calms her at all. I used to sleep whenever my baby slept. don’t worry about the house work. don’t worry about laundry. take care of the baby and use your down time wisely. no baby is the same, but her sleeping patterns will solidify very soon. it gets easier in that department.

Answer #4

try starting a schedule with her… and no matter where you are stick to the schedule… like sceduled feeding sceduled naps play time and bath time… by the age of 3 months my son was going to bed at 6pm and waking up at 6am… it was wonderful and he is still on that schedule and he is 19 months old… the bath right before bed really helps… he knows when he gets his bath that bed time is shortly after and he starts rubbing his eyes… also you can try some of the night time baby wash’s made by johnson… any more questions and I would be happy to help you…

Answer #5

not to be mean, but you probably shouldve thought about how you could work, go to school, and be a mom before you got pregnant!!! ummm maybe ask or pay someone to keep the baby for a couple days or somethin.

there’s a reason why a baby cries.. hungry.. poop.. etc.. im sure you can handle it..
