What are the best tips to get a good software development job?
I am doing the final year of my bachelors course in computer science and want to get a good software development job within a few months after completing my bachelors. So please do give a clear idea on how to prepare for interviews and related tips (other than joining in any training centers.) And am I eligible to do any certification courses? ( I heard doing certification courses is beneficial to freshers like me) Thanks a lot.
If you have any piece of work that you have participated in, like a community open source project, that would be a great reference.
I got my first programming job through one of my professors. I really impressed him with my programming and when an employer asked him if he had any students who were strong C programmers he recommended me highly and I got the job. My advice is to grandstand in your senior year classes and make a reputation for your self for excellent work.
