How to snowboard and ski?

well im going on my first ski/snowboarding trip soon but I have a little problem..I dont know how to do either =/ do you guys have any tips on what I can do that would help me so that I dont make a fool out of myself? thankss! =]

I went snowboarding for the first time last year with the ski club. we went to vermont and I had no clue how to do it. it was so easy to learn though and it didn’t hurt at all because the snow was real and light and fluffy. so my suggestion is board on some real snow first that’s not all hard and packed in.

You can usually book into lessons at the ski resort - I advise you take some before you go onto the slopes on your own! I found skiing very ‘counter-intuitive’ - you can’t just pick it up, but with a few lessons you can master the basics.

wellm, if your only going once I suggest skiing because you can get the hang on it WAY faster, however snowboarding is WAY funner but its harder to pick up and you might not be able to keep up. message me if you want some tips on boarding. im pretty good.
