Why do I have this tiny bald spot on my scalp?

This is really weird but has been bothering me for a while. My hair is very thick so my whole head is full of hair except for this one tiny spot in one place. It’s pretty small so I doubt anyone would notice it unless they were really eyeing the top of my head and I’m always sure to part my hair where you can’t see the spot at all. I’ve had this for so long just that one small spot with no hair and no new hair ever grows back. I find it so strange cause it’s not like I pulled big things of hair out of my head in the past so I find it odd that new hair never seems to grow back to fill in this one place. Why is this? It doesn’t completely matter that much but I was so curious.

Answer #1

is it a scar.. my aunt has a bald spot and she says its a scar and no hair ever grows..

Answer #2

I agree with the above, it could be a scar of something that happened before.

Answer #3

This could be many reasons. One being poor nutrition, taking certain medications, diabetes or lupus, hormonal changes, hair treatments such as dying your hair, or having to much stress in your life.

Answer #4

Could be ringworm. Ringworm on the scalp usually begins as a small pimple that becomes larger, leaving scaly patches of temporary baldness.

Have someone see if it’s an interesting place? It’s treatable.. ringworm isn’t a worm btw, if you didn’t know. Just a fungus infection (like athletes foot kinda)
