Allowing people their respective beliefs, I am wondering if parents have an obligation to treat their children with traditional medicine for life threatening diseases (e.g. cancer, heart diseases, etc). Where exactly should the line be drawn for parental responsibility, or should it be drawn at all?
Seeing as children are unable to decide for themselves, I think that there are cases when the courts need to step in and ensure that kids are getting the best health care they can, despite their parent's wishes. Unfortunately, parents don't always know what's best for their own children.
