Who thinks it's okay for teens to wear makeup and if so, why or why not?

Answer #1

By the time you are fourteen or fifteen, I’d say you should be able to choose whether or not you want make-up. It should be a choice for us, it’s a way to express our individuality.

Answer #2

i think its okay if your not over doing it. i wear eyeliner mascara and some cover up when needed. dont over do it

Answer #3

yes, i think its fine because it lets teenagers express themselves and help there self esteem. (: x

Answer #4

I think its okay to wear make-up, but not a lot. Some eyeliner, cover up, lip gloss and a lil eye shadow is okay but no more then that i think unless its a special occasion like a formal or a party or something. Girls who wear too much make up sometimes end up looking like clowns.

Answer #5

ummm yeah i think it is okay to wear makeu as a teen as long as you dont over do it because i mean lik you need to learn how to do your makeup first of all and its a lil wierd if your already older and dont know how to do your makeup

Answer #6

I think 15 to 16 years old girls should be able to wear what they want, as long as it isn’t over doing it…as in looking like a clown. Under 15 or 16, it would be best to stick to just a little lip gloss and maybe a tiny bit of eyeliner…(maybe some very light eyeshadow) .. the natural look.

Answer #7

yea ofcourse its good!..it lets you be you…and it makes you look pretty!

Answer #8

Of course. It helps teens to express themselves and raises confidence. Too much makeup where the girl looks like a clown isn’t good though. Only a little

Answer #9

I don’t see anything wrong with it personally. Most of us get to that point where wearing it makes us feel good, or it makes us feel better. It stinks that we have to resort to makeup because we all have some natural beauty in us, but I don’t think there’s any problem with it otherwise.

Answer #10

I think teens are allowed to express themselves however they want every teen or pre teen wants to feel comfortable in their skin. If wearing make up puts them in their comfort zone. I say let them. If you don’t like it oh well.

Answer #11

i totally agree on that :)

Answer #12

Well I guess it depends on what type they wear. Sluty isnt ok, (Duh) and neither is emo but I mean like, lip gloss or Mascara is fine. But always Makeup shows caricter so…

Answer #13

using too much of make up and at an early age is certainly not fine..

Answer #21

if you’re thirteen and you’re caking on the foundation and eyeliner, then no. its gross. just a little if you’re young. by the time you’re sixteen or seventeen, it really doesnt matter, as long as you know how to wear it.
