Who thinks short people are weird just for being 4'9 when at that age they are supposed to be 5'0?

You know, I’ve taken a lot of classes on child development, I have never heard in a single class that people are ‘supposed’ to be any particular height. And how is it weird, if that is just their height? What exactly is weird about it?

Ahh, I keep thinking it goes 4’1 - 4’9 then its 5 feet. It messes me up whe it goes to 12 inches

Umm, I am 4’7” and I am 17. I probably should be well over 5’0”, but I am not…and I am certainly not “weird”.

You’d think Americans would switch over to metric already, thus simplifying life…

I resent that! I’m almost 21 and I’m 4’11’’ (and 9/16 :P) Doesn’t mean I’m weird. So if you’re ‘’supposed’’ to be 5’0’’, but you’re really 5’1’’, does that make you weird, too?

How are short people weird.? I’m short. I’m almost 16 and I’m 5ft3. My friend is the same age as me and she’s 2 inches taller. I’m definitely not weird. People can’t control how much/fast they grow, so it doesn’t make them weird.

im 15 and four eight,i don’t feel any different.i guess its just the way people see it and were taught.

i’m 14 and almost 5’9” do you think that i’m supposed to be shorter or taller? there is not height requirement. its different for everyone. do you think my knew i was going to be this tall? no, because no would have not even me. so saying that someone was supposed to be 5ft and is 4’9” is sorta just plain mean. i mean your probably hurting their feelings by saying that.

Does it matter how tall you are? Im 15 yrs and im 5’8 or 9 ish. Everyone grows at different ages for example i was short until 3rd grade then i was tall for my age. then i was short in my class till 6th grade then i grew a lot and now im the tallest.

At what age? And no. I dont think its weird. I think this question is weird. There is no right height for anyone at any age. There are averages, where most of the population fall into, but does not mean it is wrong to be taller or shorter.

I always say the exact same thing thing. When people call me short i say your just jealous because im bite size!
