I personally believe that it is part of what makes you YOU, of course not all of it, other parts do too but it is one of those things that express yourself and makes you unique from others, other than personality, beliefs, etc.
I think that this is a part of who you are, granted you wear what you find comfortable and what you like. You know when you go out shopping you buy things that have a certain appeal to you, they stand out from the other clothes.
How you dress is a way to express who you are, you choose things that you like to wear and with that, it can show the kind of person you are, the kind that isn't afraid to be who they are. It's one small step for you and one big leap for individuality.
It's starting to bug me because the more we progress in "style" the less of an individual we become. Like all the labels out there.... goth emo scene punk jock gangsta prep nerd... alll those words make you imagine a style of clothing. Then if you fall into one is it because its part of who you are or are you just trying to fit in. Everyday more and more i think it is the latter...
Yea I think so, partly but when it comes down to it, everyone rly just wants to be apart of something(prep,jock,goth,emo,scene,etc.) and i don't think they're nuffin wron wiff dat!! Lyke let's say yuh Lyke say scene kidds look kewl. So yuh want to be a scene kidd, it's not lyke it's just becuz everyone else is 'scene'. Well that's how I am
I think how i dress is a huge part of me. You will never catch me in cheap crap, i like to look good. If you were to ask people who i dress they'd probably say "high fashion", i love love love love brands. My closest ranges from Chanel to Louis Vuitton. I wear whats comfortable to me but it defiantly defines who i am :D
i think it shows who you are, what you are comfertable in, alot of people like to dress the same so fit in, but when you dress differently it shows you dont care what people think about you, your not getting dreessed to please them, your wearing what you want because you want to and dont care who doesnt like it
I think how I dress and my style is a huge part of who I am. I think my creativity really shines through that way and I wear what I like. I never would wear something I hated. To me it's all about how I get to express myself and style is how I do it
Shoot, it SHOULD be about who you are. but what with all these copies of scene bisexual people its honestly hard to tell who even means what they wear.... bunch ah confused people -_-
I strongly agree with that statement, it's how you express yourslef.
