Hi! Well, first, you should learn how to spell military and diagnostics. Second, if you enter the Army, there are extremely few jobs that could virtually make you safe. If you don’t want to be directly in harms way, you should instead join either the Navy or the Air Force. Considering where we are fighting, the Navy is probably the safest. One great thing about being a mechanic is that all branches of the military have them! Also, the Navy’s bootcamp is definitely easier than the Army’s! But you would be surprised, as with any branch, the Navy does have many neat jobs you can do, and with this economy, you may find making a career of it could make a lot of sense. But under this! Being in any of the military branches means you are constantly being told what to do, and when to do it. That’s a tough pill to swallow for many people. And these people giving you orders don’t always have the brains, personality, or demeanor to inspire you to follow their orders. But rank is everything in the military! I regularly kick myself in the butt for not making the Navy a career. I spent four years there, enjoyed most of my time there, saw a lot of the world, fought for a short time in Vietnam, and got some great experience. Good Luck! Don

You’re probably thinking of post trauma stress disorder. If I were you than I would join the Navy. My sister-in-law is in the Navy stationed in Naples, Italy. That would be awsome.

In England we have army careers centers in every town and city, normally that would be the place to check out if you need any advice for a career in the military. Not sure if you have anything like that over in the states though. Even if you are a mechanic, you may still get called up as you will be a trained specialist in your chosen field. The army does not give special treatment, even the mail men may have to fight if the occasion called for it. Good luck though man
