Does anybody know anything about the new google cell phone... Like which wireless company(ies) will be carrying it and when it is coming out and what it does and the cost?
The Google cell is different because it will run on open source software, which means anyone really can carry it.
Thirty-four companies have said they will join the Open Handset Alliance, a multinational alliance that will work on developing applications on the Android platform. Members of the alliance include mobile handset makers HTC and Motorola, U.S. operator T-Mobile, and chipmaker Qualcomm.
Rumors say it will be $200 or less and be released sometime in the Fall.
