Hey, What does the stirring mean in the giver. I don't get it. Thaannks.
The stirring, is going through puberty.
The dreams are like the faintly sexual dreams that boys get during puberty.
Remember. We're they live, they cant see each other naked and babies are conceived in test tubes and birth is from certain women.
Married couples never actually have children.
So, basically, its fantasies that start when guys and girls start liking each other.
"Stirrings" are the start of growing up and realizing that everything isn't perfect. That's why they give them the pills, so they'll stay brainwashed and not be curious about anything.
its when a child hs feelings for another!!! duh!! lol im only in 6th grade cmon!!! they give the kids pills so thy will stop doing this
