Convince someone to get texting?

Does anyone know a ggod way to convince your mom to give you texting?im 14 and I have a ton of friends who all have texting! How do I get it?!?!?

try this tell your mom how by texting it will save money when I got my phone we were only going to get talk but then I told my we can use less calling mins by texting and she got us unlimited texting and just added less min but the bill is still less

I tried, heres her problems- -its “obnoxious” -I’ll act stupid -I’ll always be texting I told her that I will be sure that I dont do these things but she still wont believe me :(

tell your mom that texting is something that everyone has… maybe tell her that your gonna do some chores around the house if she pays for texting

make up some cray story like lol go up to her and say you need texting because what if you get kidnapped and you can’t call anyone because its too loud and you might get caught and they only way to survive is to text someone where you are haha make her believe if you don’t get texting you could die. I know I have a strange mind but if your mom is paranoid about stuff like that it will work

I agree with Erika, I told my mom the same story about the kidnapping thing and it actually worked and thats how I got the phone too.
