Or rather, what would be too cold? So winter time is setting in, and I generally like to keep my room a lot colder than average. This can include opening the window, etc... My only concern is for all the electronics in the room. I have a few TV's, a pile of gaming systems and my laptop. Is it possible to get my room temperature too cold and potentially ruin any of these in some way? What would a good temperature be, or one not to go under?
too low a temp would cause condensation, and we dont want liquid in our electronics do we..
come winter i keep my heating on all day and never turn it off..
as long as your not gonna cause a health risk to yourself being too cold then dont worry about anything like what temps a piece of electrical equipment is most comfortable with because in teh end it can be replaced, we cant.
Low temperatures are usually not a problem for electronics. Just do not go below freezing that can affect batteries, LCD's and electrolytic capacitors. The greatest damage usually is caused by too much heat.
def not to hot or humid and not too cold :) norm room temp here that is like 15 to 20 degress Celsius
