Why do my teeth suddenly hurt when I eat?

It’s one or two of the teeth at the back of my mouth (molars) and it’s only those teeth. I’m not one to complain about pain, I usually push through it, but I actually can’t chew on the side of my mouth because it hurts that bad. I have nice strong white teeth, I floss, brush two maybe 3 times a day and get enough calcium. I was at the dentist for the 1st time in almost 15 years about a month ago and he said my teeth were “great”… I don’t know whAt could have caused this sudden pain… Any input?!

depends u couldve developed cold or heat sensative spots caused by diroding enamle, u eat healthy and lots of fruits and vegetables have acid stuff tht causes tht make sure u brush ur teeth day and night and if it truned out thts what it is i recomend sensodine (it blocks ur nevr openings where enamle have deroded) and enamle hardner mouth wash and use em both the pain should stop or if thts not the case u might need ur wisdome teeth taken out hope this helped

Could be cavities or the hot/cold affecting the nerves inside the teeth…..

Ah sounds like wisdom teeth are comin in. They could be comin in crooked and makin your other teeth ache from the pressure when u chomp down on food. Might need an x-ray to see how your wisdom teeth are coming in. If they are going to be a problem best remove them. I still have mine in. They did that to me when they first came in… Now they are all the way in.. Kinda messed up my bottom teeth.. They are a little crooked now lol. Not to bad tho. Nothing a back bar couldnt fix

Answer #4

Naw I’ll my wisdom teeth came in nice, one came in kind of crooked but the dentist said it was an optional removal. Anyways my teeth felt better a few hours later after I posted haha. It’s all good now

Answer #5

Well thats good then… lol.

Answer #6

Those teeth just might be more sensitive than your other ones. Mine do that same thing though and are the ones in the back too :/
