teaseing, emo, hair,, urrgg

What I teased my hair it all wyas goes flat and makes me look bad, I want a emo look when I go back to school, so I’m trying the hair and nothing, I just can get it to work, I have meidan long, black hair, (in the pic) can you tell me how to teased my hair right so it will stay up, or tell my a deff emo look thatwill look good on me?? thanks it menas a lot, cause school starts morrorw.

What you need to do is get whats called a crown. Its kinda like getting it layered but its much easier to tease and spray because its all pretty much the same length. If you have troubles getting it to stay you need to get gel that boosts your roots, blow dry it upside down, use shampoo that volumizes and a good conditioner that replenishs. I’d recommend Aussie for the conditioner and Ganier for volume. After you’ve finished blown drying it upside down brush it out a little bit and put your bangs where you want them. Use your hand to make little circles under all the top layers to stimulate your roots. Get a fine comb and tease it to the point where it looks like its too poofy, then spray hair spray on where you teased it (under the layers just as well as on top). Tease it all some more, if it looks too poofy thats good because gravity will take effect so by the time you get to school it’ll look perfect. When your finished teasing fix it up a little so it doesn’t look like you just stepped out of a holloween store. :) If you still have questions look up some videos on youtube about it. It’ll help if you see how to do it with your own eyes rather than painting a picture with your mind.

its doesnt look like you have a emo hair cut but if you wanna tease it you have to use hairspray asap so it stays

Then tease it The spray and tease, then straighten it, and spray and tease again. Hair spray helps… a lot

Well… I think it helps if you have layers for the tease-look… I have never seen anyone pull it off that had hair that was all the same length, buttt, if you are able to style it how you like it, then add some hairspray and it should stay. Maybe you need to use a better brand if you are already? Bigsexyhair is amazing.

What I do is put some hair gel in first then tease it. After I get it how I want I add some hairspray for extra hold. What you could also try that I think looks good on me is again use the hair gel first and put them in pig tails and curl a couple of clumps so it looks kind of curly but emo at the same time. My hair is shorter and I have bangs that go past my eyes so I put most of them in the pig tails and use the hair gel to make it look kind of spiky. I leave to small strands out for my bangs. It creates a great emo hairstyle that works well without all the tangles.
