Tease wont stay in my hair... Help?

I dont want to hear any bad comments about being a poser or anything. I just like awesome hair…

This is the oddest thing ever… I have really thick hair. Like amazingly think… gorgeous hair… and I have it layered, so I can tease it up, and look awesome. But it never stays… I can tease my hair to the heavens! but within 10 minutes its down. Its not the hairspray. Its actually my hair. Its too soft. so soft that the hair spray has no effect.

I can figure out what to do! I’ve tried mousse to make it a little more stiff, hair glue doesnt let it move at all. And every brand of hairspray you can think of. Please help me?

Im about to give up on it and let my layers grow back out

get your top layers thinned. that should help a bit

you could try just using conditioner on the ends of your hair and not the top of your head. also there is a great teasing product I always use it’s called “what a tease-backcomb in a bottle” by Big Sexy Hair. what I do is spray it on a small section of hair and put a blowdryer on it for a few seconds. then tease the front and back of the section with a fine-toothed comb. repeat on all the sections you want to be big and sexy! then smooth the top a little so it doesnt look messy on top. hope this helps! :)

I use very little conditioner

If I don use any, I look like I have an afro.It just poofs, and doesnt go down =(

do you use conditioner? it makes your hair soft so try not using it for a while if you do
