Should I believe rumors I heard about my teacher last year?

Me and my boyfriend have heard the same rumors that my math teacher last year that he got kicked out first semester for flirting with a student…

I had him for second semester and didnt even know about him before that.. me and my boyfriend are in diff grades… and we both heard about it… and I dont know if it could be true or not.

and I loved being in his class.

so when summer first started, I sent him an email about getting in his class this year. and he said I could request to get into his class but I would have to wait til late july for the principal to get there.

so 2 weeks ago. mum called. secretary answered. and she said my teacher wasnt working there this year. so I sent an email asking what was going on and he still hasnt replied. the first time I sent an email he answered liek 2 days later. and this time he hasnt yet…

I want to knwo whats going on… because this is killing me… if he got kicked out for flirting and they just had him finish the year or what…

if the school board looked up our emails… and canceled his account..

I have no idea. he gave me his number for my mum to call him about requesting to be in his class and giving her the info… and im about to call him and find out what is going on…

what should I go about doing with this?
