I would guess a Tatoo would hurt anywhere you’d get one. I’m not sure how it feels to get a tatoo myself because I’ve never had one :p
All tattoos and the level of pain is different for everyone but the back of your leg isn’t a very sensitive spot (at least for most people) so I would assume that it would not be too painful.

All tattoos hurt to some degree, but that is part of the experience.

Every person is different. It really depends on your pain tolerance. All my tattoos, didn’t hurt at all. I have one tattoo on each shoulder, one on my hip bone, and one on my hand. Pain free, it was a breeze.
