Explain myself about a piercing with kidney disease

I went to get my belly button pierced a while ago and the guy wouldn’t do it because when he asked me do if I have any diseases, I told him I had kidney disease. He said he wouldn’t do it without a note from the doctor. I asked my doctor and she said it was fine, but obviously a doctor won’t give a note for a tattoo or piercing. Should I go to another place and try to explain myself or just lie to them?

It’s never a good idea to lie about these things, especially if they could be hazardous to our health. Talk to your doctor to see if it’s safe for you, get a note, then get your bellybutton done. Wouldn’t you rather be safe than risk some sort of harm?

ummm No, your doctor SHOULD give you a note… why NOT? My doctor ALWAYS gives me a note when needed for anything…
