Is exercising the lower part of your legs by standing on your heels, and tapping your feet, help your leg muscles or just cause them to be sore and have no beneficent purpose?
If you roll your feet from heel to toe it will help tons with the calf muscles. Being on your toes works the back calf, where being on your heels works the front muscle that covers your shin bone basically. If you want to work out your theights, when you roll back and forth, bend your knees like a squat, it works them out too. Almost any motion aside extreme pounding stress, like jumping with a 200 lb weight, or hyperextension is good
A random fact (which does kinda answer the question) : if you are on the loo and you are on the balls of your feet that helps you excrete better and its good for your leg muscles.
heels hurt I prefer norm shoes but I think I might help.
