how many times you need to go to the tanning salon

does anyone know how many times you need to go to the tanning salon before it starts to make a difference?

Answer #1

I hope tanning beds are fading out. They’re not safe and it isn’t worth getting Cancer. My son has skin Cancer as has a huge hole cut into his back from where he had surgery. The drs went all the way to the bone to get the Cancer. We don’t know if it was caused by the sun but no reason to take a chance these days when there are safer alternatives.

Read this on webmd.com:

Tanning beds don’t offer a safe alternative to natural sunlight. Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation damages your skin, whether the exposure comes from tanning beds or natural sunlight. This damage increases the risk of skin cancer and premature skin aging. In fact, most tanning beds emit mainly UVA rays — which may increase the risk of melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer. If you want the golden glow of a tan without exposure to damaging UV radiation, consider using a sunless tanning product. Avoid tanning beds, and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen whenever you’re outdoors.

both tanning beds and the sun directly cause skin cancer and prematurely age your skin and face, just like sun exposure does as well as numerous other things the only safe tan is a FAKE tan one form a bottle, spay on, wipe, cream or can be smart and get a fake tan the only difference your going to notice is prematurely aged skin and possibly a melanoma
