Why is being tan so popular?

I know I like paler skin too. A lot of people think tan skin looks healthier. It’s a sort of universal trend, like big boobs, long legs… that kind of thing. But, there are actually more people out there than you think who would like a short pale small-boobed girl. In fact I saw a youtube video once and all these guys were talking about how they like girls with small boobs better, which I do too actually. Big boobs are intimidating. So tan, like everything else, is just a personal preference…

My body is tanned naturally but my face is always pale because I like it that way.

I used to like being pale but then realised in the sun it didnt look so nice, and when your wearing a skirt or whatever, it didnt look too great, so I like a tan, or sometimes fake tan is nicee too :D

OMGG!! I have been out in the sun for 5 hours today, and fake tanned 3times!!! but good question, not too sure I just prefere myself darker and I have more confidence when im a ddarker colour I have dark hair dark eyes but quite pale skin so always try to get darker skin, it also tends to hide my red patches because im quite spotty, :/ x

I like pale skin too, I really don’t get why women essentially want to chage the colour of their skin :(

I agree. I think porcelin skin is really pretty.
