All I can say is it looks like some form of a celtic knot, i’m trying to look more into it though.

Yeah, I was trying to google various words, but I’m not terribly sure. I think it’s from just after the viking age if that’s any help at all XD

If I’m not mistaken, it’s a Celtic knot. Sorry I’m not wearing my glasses. I’m Irish :)

it looks like the eternity knot which is a celtic symbol. the eternity knot signifies eternity which has no beginning or end. it represents beauty and everlasting love
