Home More advice Home & Garden
I have toads and snakes living in my yard, as well as many other fun yard nature type animals. The problem is, I'm always afraid to cut the lawn because I dont want to run any of them over.. I was wondering if anyone knows how to build a swamp or pond in my backyard from scratch?
A proper pond would be better than a smelly swamp I think. There are many different types of pond kits you can buy. Home Depot has kits and they or your local garden center should be able to help you choose the size, location in the yard, pump, plants, care etc. Sounds like you already have the animals. Depending on your budget you can make your pond as elaborate or simple as you need. If you can afford it call a landscaper to help you design the "perfect" home for your little visitors. Good luck
