I believe you are talking about Sudoku. Its a game that deals with numbers known as a wordless crossword puzzle. The sudoku puzzle is made up of a 9x9 square grid and then broken down in 3x3 boxes. Random numbers are thrown in the boxes.
The object of the is to fill the empty boxes with 1-9.
That's every row, column, and box without repeating the same number in the area,It sounds a lot harder than it really is. Once get the concept its really simple.
