What does it mean when all of a sudden your best friend starts acting really strange around you?

Like, when were in groups for youth group, and, last night for example, we were talking about the death of Christ and he couldn’t stop laughing and making jokes and being funny. But he was only looking at me whenever he would do it. I’m confused at what is going on. Also, when our teacher would call on him to answer a question, he used such an impressive vocabulary that I have never heard him use before! And I’ve known him all my life almost!! What does this mean? Please HELP ME OUT HERE IF YOU WILL!!!!

There is really no telling what it means, only he really knows. He might be trying to grow up by trying to lash out and impress people with his jokes and vocabulary. Id say wait a bit longer and let him sort through whats going on by himself, because it might be nothing. If it continues to a point in which you are concerned, then you should talk to himabout it, just say you are wondering if theres anything he needs to talk about because you think he has been acting odd lately. but give him some time to sort it our by himself first

Sometimes nothing at all is happening. Just normal changes or they are acting differently but not even meaning to…

O_o he probably realized lately he likes you more than a friend …. typical guy behavior really…. crack a joke, check if the girl you like laughs, if yes, continue. if no, try harder :D
